About the Project

The Arctic Flower Project was founding in December 2017 as a way to tell stories of resilience and hope.  Arctic flowers grow in harsh conditions.  Yet they still thrive and are beautiful.    

In my view people often go through difficult things and survive through the harshest conditions. Yet they still have kindness, joy, laughter, and wisdom to share with the world.

These are stories of people overcoming oppression as told through me, the interviewer.  As much as possible, these words are their own.  These stories are their own, and the hope that they inspire is a result of their resilience.
